Up the ‘Road to the Isles’ and doon the Uists
The 2015 Beer Bellies on Bikes areDavid Law, David Gemmell, Craig Thomson, David Graham, Stephen Christie and Columba 1400’s new CEO, Jack Ryan.This year the 6 of us will take to the road in support of Columba 1400.
We depart from Oban on Wednesday afternoon (16th Sept) and take the ‘road to the isles’ to Mallaig with an overnight stop at Ardgour. Bright and early the next day we’ll cross by ferry to Skye and cycle to Uig – stopping off at Columba 1400’s centre in Staffin on the way.
Crossing to Lochmaddy we will cycle the length of the Uists and set sail to Barra where we plan to rest our weary legs and rehydrate with a local beverage on Saturday evening.
